One fraction is equivalent to a quotient between the numerator by the denominator.

For example this fraction is equivalent to the decimal number 0,4 because:

To calculate the equivalent fraction of a decimal number:

- Remove the comma

- Put in the denominator a unit with as many zeros after it as decimals the number has.

**Exercises:**

1.- Convert into fractions:

a) 0.11

b) 1.1

2.- Convert into decimal numbers:

a) 7/10

b) 3/4
